Week 377 – Natasha did everything she could to avoid that dreaded command

She wasn’t going to be able to resist her brother’s orders.

Brandon had brainwashed her into obeying his every command under the threat of suffering the consequences if she didn’t.

It would take a lot of time and therapy to overcome that.

But they didn’t have time.

Tony was already preparing himself to spring at Brandon. The gun would go off but as long as he got himself between the weapon and Natasha then it should he’d be the one to take the bullet. Then all he needed to do was turn that weapon and take Brandon out.

He didn’t care if he died so long as he took Brandon out with him.

Just as he was about to make his move, Natasha blinked slowly. The deer in the headlights look fading from her eyes replaced with determination. Then he could see that Natasha did everything she could to avoid that dreaded command.

Her arms straightened, steadying the weapon that looked much too big in her slender hands, and did what he would have sworn was impossible.

She fired.
